Sam Foti began his professional career after graduating form Wharton School of Business in 1974 after which he studied law at the University of Oxford and completed in masters in Finance and Investments form the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. The gradual ascend of Samuel J. Foti began when he joined MONY which offers their variety of amenities, life insurances, mutual fund products and more through their financial services to high income individuals.
After joining MONY in 1988, Samuel Foti quickly gained popularity and became the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company in 1994. His services to the company are numerous and most certainly commendable. By reducing the exposure of the company to mortgage loans and by upgrading the management of the equity real estate portfolio, he designed and implemented his genius plan to reposition the company’s investment portfolio. Furthermore, he brought the company back on track and operating for efficiently by selling numerous divisions and subsidiaries unessential to the main business. In addition to this he also upgraded the quality of the sales force multiple folds by greatly improving their resources and training.
